Tech Safety Lines supplies a comprehensive range of industrial PPE, fall protection, and technical rescue equipment from leading manufacturers, including 3M and Petzl. We also design and manufacture our own patented rescue and controlled-descent systems in North Texas, including the third-party-certified SRK-15® and MCD®.

Tech Safety Lines instructors combine recognized credentials with experience in technical rescue operations and high-risk industries. Our training team includes Dallas Fire Department Technical Rescue Team members, Texas Task Force 1 Urban Search and Rescue personnel, paramedics, GWO-certified instructors, and seasoned industry professionals. Their real-world experience informs practical, scenario-based industrial safety and rescue training designed around the conditions students may actually encounter. TSL instructors have earned GWO Instructor of the Year recognition in two consecutive years.
OUR FOUNDING STORY
A Legacy of Rescue Innovation
Following the events of September 11, 2001, Diane Waghorne recognized an urgent need for better emergency escape and rescue options for people working at height. Less than 30 days later, she boarded a plane to meet with a manufacturer of personal rescue systems originally developed for military applications.
Diane ultimately acquired the patents for the technology and founded Tech Safety Lines to make advanced personal rescue capabilities available wherever people face emergencies at height. Those systems became the foundation of a company dedicated to improving how people prepare for, respond to, and escape life-threatening situations.
For more than two decades, Tech Safety Lines has built around that foundation, creating an integrated safety and rescue ecosystem encompassing technical training, patented rescue and fall protection equipment, rescue consulting, and onsite response support.
Today, Tech Safety Lines continues to advance rescue solutions for industrial, military, fire service, and public safety applications worldwide—guided by the same purpose that shaped the company from the beginning: helping people return home safely.
